Thank you to our awesome group of Mum’s and Nain’s who came and joined in with our sensory singing afternoon. it was lovely to catch up with all the babies and see them enjoying themselves. We are really looking forward to seeing them when they start at Sêr Bach soon.
Today we had our first spot check from Food Standards and passed with flying colours. We are over the moon to have been awarded a rating 5 and can’t wait to get our sticker to display. A huge thank you to my wonderful staff.
This Thursday afternoon we are having an afternoon for some of our new mum’s to meet each other and for the children to have some fun. We will be singing and enjoying some sensory magic. The time has flown this week, we have had our first official nursery birthday (Happy Birthday Stacey) and our first trip, we all enjoyed some fresh air in Plas Newydd. Following that we have been really busy creating lots of Autumn crafts and playing lots of Autumn games and the children even managed to bake some bread. Looking forward to another busy and exciting week next week.
There have been lots of reading activities happening in Sêr Bach this week with our ‘Elen Ben Felen’ story board being a firm favorite. We have started a great routine of visiting the library each Wednesday for Story time. Everyone loves it. If you would like to know more about what we have to offer pop in and see us. Looking after a poorly Jack has given me lots of time to think today. What a difference a few months have made, from an empty shell to a place full of fun and laughter. Then I started thinking…… more exciting play and learning areas to be introduced over the next few weeks. It is time to take a break from the paperwork down and get creative again 🙂
